The Hound of the Baskervilles
by Arthur Conan Doyle

This was an excellent mystery and one with an unusual wetting; a moor in England. Combine that with a hound that glows in the dark and you’ve got yourself an interesting start. The mystery progresses at a good pace with good characters. If you like traditional mysteries, I highly recommend this one.

Small Things Like These

This is a book that 1) Uses just the right number of words to say what it needs to, 2) Can tell a beautiful story set in the harshness of a poor community in Ireland, and 3) Can beautifully contrast the very best and very worst of human behavior. In short, this is an amazing book, and I will be reading more by this author.

Circe

I loved this book! The story touches on or at least mentions many of the gods and other recognizable figures from Greek mythology and really helped me understand how they connected. The story begins with Circe’s birth and life in the city with her family but then spends much time and attention on the island of Aeaea where she comes to terms with some old demons and charts the course for her future. If you like mythology, you will love this story.

A friends-to-lovers story. It follows a shy girl as she steps outside her comfort zone and begins embracing life in fun and unexpected ways. She asks for support from a caring guy who encourages her to grow, and their friendship slowly blossoms into a heartfelt romance. If you like slow burn chemistry, and a feel-good love story, this book is for you.

It’s a favorite contemporary romance. Sarah and Isaac’s story is raw, messy, and filled with real emotion. The chemistry between these two is hot while also having such a beautiful emotional depth. I will be reading more novels by Jewel E.Ann

It's amazing to me how someone went from the top comedian to off the air a decade later. Overall, well written.

Days before his college graduation, Alice calls Harry (step son) with shocking news. His father is dead and the police think it’s suicide. Devastated, Harry returns to his father’s home in Maine. There, he and Alice will help each other pick up of the pieces of their lives and uncover what happened to his father, however, the author provides so many twists and turns. Maybe you can predict some of them, maybe not........truly enjoyed the book and did something I don't often do: seek out the same author for multiple reads.
